Claes de Vreese and Erik Albaek, former visiting professor ASCoR and professor at the University of Southern Denmark, have been awarded a large scale grant by the private Danish research foundation VELUX. The grant (totaling 1.1 million euro) includes funding for 2 PhD positions, 1 post doc and data collection. The grant will be administrated at SDU.

The research project deals with the effects of news media coverage on economic perceptions and consumer confidence.
